Working Groups

Since 2002 different groups of scientists from different European countries have requested the EGF to act as a working group under the umbrella of EGF. This initiative was supported by the Executive Committee. Currently there are four EGF Working Groups on the following topics:

The Working Groups report to each EGF General Meeting and, more recently, on the EGF Website.

Future activities

The workshops in combination with EGF conferences will be announced on the respective event websites.

Recent activities

Workshop “Sensing in grassland and forage science and practice” held in Sardinia 2017
The EGF Working Group “Sensing in grassland and forage science and practice” held its constituting assembly and first workshop on 7 May 2017 at the Congress Venue of the Department of Architecture, Muralla de l’Hospital (Bastioni Pigafetta) in Alghero, Sardinia (Italy).

Sunday 4 September 2016, Trondheim, Norway
"Grazing in a high-tech world” was the topic of the last meeting of the EGF Working Group “Grazing” held in Trondheim, Norway, on Sunday 4 September 2016. The meeting was a combination of a limited number of short presentations, followed by group discussions on relevant topics.
